While hiking in the Sangres over the weekend, I saw butterflies which I thought seemed to be early to see them.
I saw two different species, a blue one and several of the one below.
I think it was this species, the Western Admiral.
Has anyone else seen some already?

Re: Butterflies
Walking down the Maroon Lake road last weekend, I saw a Morning Cloak and a number of Milbert's Tortoiseshells. Both those species have early seasonal flights so it didn't seem to unusual.
