While this does not address specific checklist requirements, it's a solid reference that should be considered mandatory reading for anyone thinking about getting out and pooping in the wild. If you feel the urge to read this book, I'd suggest not putting it off. Oh, by the way, I notice that there is now a 4th edition that came out in 2020 so I could be a little behind on this subject.

So leaving your own Jackson Pollock in the alpine - yes; leaving Winged Victory of Samothrace - no.
