I ran into a group on Holy Cross yesterday that had a llama carrying all of their gear for them...

I suggest you do Democrat from the west. Then you can have your post-climax climax in Climax!

I saw a dude masterbating on the side of the trail while hiking up San Luis. It was well above tree line and somehow he didn't see us hiking up the trail.

There is this thing call autoerotic asphyxia- oxygen deprived orgasms- that might be assisted by large changes in altitude. I've read about unfortunates who fatally overdo it now and then. I've never directly tried this, but notice the first one is more intense after several days at another altitude, curiously either direction.

Yes, the asphyxia during orgasm is a fairly wild feeling. Had my encounter on Cameron-Bross saddle, which you think might be too exposed, but there are a few rock formations... didnt feel the need to be sharing with the other people on the mtn that day, lol.

They guy flying a cessna up Stevens Gulch?? Death-wish!! One gust the wrong way and the rest of us have to pack all the pieces out to "leave no trace", beside the fire scar on the side of the hill.

The jet ranger taking pics of wedding must have been operating close to his altitude limit as well.

Climb on!!

ha, on the register things on trails i almost always check "llama" for "mode of transportation". it's the little things that make me laugh at my own stupidity.

I sure hope you use a parade bag for that llama...

If I wanted to mess with people's minds I would make my destination something like "Sneffels" for the Huron trailhead. (As it is I mess with the stats already by truthfully putting in a 60610 zip code when everyone else is in the 8's.)

On the summit of Arrow Peak in the Grenadiers, the register in the tube said "Handies Peak" at the top, then Handies was crossed off and Arrow put in its place. I think someone "stole" the register from Handies and put it on Arrow instead just to mess with people

Is a llama really a mode of travel? I know they carry gear, but could you actually ride one without killing it? :D

Well I'll be.

I like the photo caption with the line "the llama doesn't look too happy."

I don't think I've ever seen a llama that looked happy.

One of my life goals is to hike the Colorado trail with llamas. They should feel at home.
