Bicentennials Every and Copper Creek from Henson Creek?

Post by Hoot »

I'm planning to climb Matterhorn in a couple of weeks and want to climb the bicentennials "Every Mountain" (13,691) and "Copper Creek Peak" (13,688) the following day. The Copper Creek TH to the southwest appears to be the standard approach for these two peaks. But on the topo, it looks practical to get both of them from the north off Henson Creek Road with an 8-mile out and back along the west ridge of Copper Gulch. Does anyone know anything about this approach? Any private property issues along Henson Creek Road about 2 miles west of Capitol City? Anyone else interested in joining me for these peaks?
