I've got a 2WD car until Sat. morning I'm renting (usually I'm begging to be picked up for a ride). Looking for a snow hike partner for an early Fri. start on something drivable from the Denver area. I'm open to many possibilities, depending on how accessible trailheads are. Some ideas are Decalbrion, Greys/Torreys from Loveland, Massive from the Fish Hatchery, if it's realistic to start from whatever is accessible - the usual suspects. I would label myself inexhaustible when it comes to endurance, but not particularly technical. Yet. So I do like long hikes.
I'm also hoping to get in a mid-week winter hike, using a Flex Car and starting as early as I can, if anyone is interested in making something regular.
Please PM me if you'd like to meet up,
Need a climbing partner? Trying to form a hiking group for an outing?

Quandry you take a paved road to the winter trailhead - OK for rentals. That trailhead is about half mile from the summer trailhead. Lower avy danger than some other mountains.
