Bill's 3,800 ft of vert on Ellingwood has me tempted to duplicate his ski route on Friday (4/1). See his TR here: http://www.14ers.com/php14ers/tripreport.php?trip=9725&cpgm=tripmain&ski=Include
I don't have AT bindings or skins, so I'll be shoeing up with my super-heavy skis and boots. I'll drive down from Boulder on Thursday and camp at lower elevation, possibly in the back of my truck, then drive up the road as far as possible and get an early start. As of now (Monday), the weather forecast looks really mild on Thursday night and unbelievably nice Friday.
Anyone game? We can take my truck, but I'd love to have someone to split the gas with. Also up for slight modifications to this plan.
Need a climbing partner? Trying to form a hiking group for an outing?
