Of the 175 shows, how many times did they play 'Banditos'? 'Americano'?
I think I can only remember 2 shows where Banditos was not played. He has to play it like FOW had to play Stacy's Mom.

Americano probably less. Maybe half the shows. There are so many hits and they mix the set list up well.

OK people - new event possibility is coming up on the horizon.

THis weather pattern has me thinking this is a sign to finally get up Pikes Peak!!

but I need to clock this in as my December New Spot - so event calendar starts as of Dec 1.

i'd rather do it when it is cooler than hotter anyway - seems like a huge win.

___________

Here's a side note on the phish front too - as a Colorado Phish kid growing up - hiking and phish are very related.

I've been jamming them on the way to / back / and during hikes. I remember loading up walkmans for hikes.

I remember taking several CDs packed into one case to play the discman on hikes!!

To me they're perfect rocket fuel for further energy and excitement for this kind of stuff.

I did some more digging and it looks like that phish panic show at the living room was back in 1990, I used to.m have my co worker wake me up at 3am in the lot to start my work day, grab an extra large dunkin, couple of parliaments and I’d be good to go

OK people - the dream will not die just yet.

Still looking to form a crew to hike some s**t and bust some jams. and now with this weather and all - seems like everything has come full circle - Buffalo Peak this saturday.

based on cheechaco's encouraging words - sounds like it should be a homerun!

I can honestly say I have not ever, to my knowledge, heard a Phish song.
I think I've probably heard a grateful Dead song, but can't be sure.
I've also never seen Titanic.

I feel like I should look up Phish on Spotify or something, but I kind of like being able to say I have no idea what it's about.

yes there was a time back in the 90s where i was quite passionate about phish

and would pretty much proselytize their music

and I have been meaning to point out to you uninitiated reading out there.....

maybe you're sitting there just a bit bored with your music selection.

and you're thinking "i wish there was some kind of new band I could get into that had a tremendous back catalog that I could spend years wandering through"

then maybe this band -and this upcoming jam hike - could be for you!

They literally are hiking music.

OK so far this effort isn't really getting any traction.

I ended up getting to Long Scraggy Peak the other weekend for the December 'new spot' challenge - all while kicking 10/19/21 - on headphones!! That Stash Twist and 2001 were anthems of glory.

BUT

there remains one final challenge - getting to the top of Green Mtn in Boulder via Skunk canyon. I actually was up in there december 2019 on the night of the "Netties" ceremony - and a big snow storm prevented me from topping.

but pretty kickass up there - been looking forward to getting back. and I had never launched from NCAR before either - that is a cool trailhead.

This is from after the snowstorm as I was heading to car.

Likely heading up some time next week?

also - now hearing that over yonder brewing in golden will hopefully webcast some NYE nights.

that place is well positioned to hit up after a hike - and I myself did a nice Mt Morrison>webcast combo for one of the mexico 2020 shows

and I hit up S.Table mtn before the 8/13 show this summer too.

what could be better for a phish hike group than ending the endeavor with a show?!
