I love my marker dukes! They are the 2011 model, mounted on K2 sidestash skis. Maybe eventually I will go with some dynafits as I have dynafit boots but its a good workout to lug that weight! I also skied them at the resort for 20+ days last season and never noticed any slop. Now I got a pair of griffons on my resort skis and judging from 3 runs at A-basin they ski exactly the same as the dukes.

The guy at boulder ski deals was telling me that the new line of markers has a skinnier underfoot plate and they have been seeing them break, he said I was lucky to have the old version. Maybe look around on craigslist and try to score an old model?
