I've found Boulder Running Company in Boulder (I think it's Pearl and 29th) to be the best as far as knowledgeable staff. They do gait analysis there too, and have a great selection. The other two specialty stores in the area, Runners Roost on Colorado Blvd in Denver and Runners World in Westminster are pretty hit or miss as far as staff knowledge. I've always had a good experience at the Boulder Store--some pretty hardcore runners working there, too.

BRC is good (they also have a store in Littleton) as is Runner's Roost. The Springs have Colorado Running Company. They all have the treadmill for analyzing your gate.

Online, Running Warehouse has pretty much everything.
