I don’t know you were bilingual.
I know a few phrases here and there. Picked this one up running through my neighborhood. It roughly translates to:

Don't come around here no more
Don't come around here no more
whatever you're looking for
Don't come around here no more

There are no "pet parents", just animal owners. But I agree, some of them are worse than others.

Agree to disagree. Our animals are our family, not something we own.

Gotten nipped a couple different times while trail running and started carrying pepper spray but recently switched to a small air horn. One short blast makes everyone stop in their tracks for a moment. Light, cheap, non lethal, and quick to deploy.

Bad pets and bad pet people are like bad drivers, they're really a small percentage of the overall population but there terribleness gives the illusion of higher numbers.

Also, to quote Dave Barry, "The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status or ethnic background, is that, deep down inside, we ALL believe that we are above average drivers."

That’s a name I haven’t heard in a long time. He was the guest speaker at my command’s ball in Miami. In related news, Miami-Dade has the worst drivers.

Duke agrees with the content. Dogs chasing after wildlife is a painful thing to see on the trail!

For the dog owners who think marmots are just cute furry toys for their mutts;

Consider the time I came upon a group treating their dog in Wetterhorn Basin some time ago. They told me the dog chased a marmot which decided to stand it's ground and bit the foot of the dog clear through. Looked like a very nasty wound.

Probably because the owner wraps so much s**t around her neck...

Saw a 4 month old puppy on top of a 14er this summer -- it was whimpering and clearly not up for it yet. Good choices made. Owner said it had an irritable bowel so there was no way she was carrying it down. Yeah...

This owner should be reported for animal abuse and have the dog removed from their irresponsible care.

I'm a pet parent.

That woman is not, she's a head case.
