3 dogs climbed Aconcagua with us 15 years ago. They seemed to be living at Nido des Condores & I assume they went up frequently. Not quite 7k, but close.

Does it really count since the dog was leashed?

Kudos for the ascent with no pack, no axe, gear and barefoot...

But he didn't do it solo, he'll have to re climb it for full credit.

This reminds me of Horton the Quandary dog. I remember him being so fit, he followed us to the summit after having already summited at least once earlier that same day and I wouldn't be surprised if he had summited again that same day after us.

Man I’m sad that I never got to meet him. Give me the choice between a dog and a person ...

Well, let's think about that.

If someone carries all the food/water/shelter/emergency needs to the peak for your ... did you climb the peak?
I'm sure she enjoyed the food, but considering that she spent 2 nights out in the elements at 20,000+ feet and probably ate snow for water, I'm not sure any of those things qualify as "needs". Such a tough dog.

Have you ever eaten snow for water?
I've watched many a dog do it, including my own. Can't even get him to drink water out of a bowl after we've been out because he isn't thirsty
