Help - name these peaks?

Post by fromflabtofourteener »

Hello, ok not the best photo, taken from my window, Canon SX50SH at around 800-ish mm... I'm halfway between Castle Rock and Larkspur. I've been greeting these peaks every morning for the past year and a half, and still don't know their names! Taken this morning @ 6 am. Thank you! :)

Bill's right. Try putting your address into Caltopo's View: https://caltopo.com/view. The View's one of the most useful tools out there for identifying peaks. If you select "Imagery" from the drop down menu in the upper right it will probably be easier to identify the peaks. Here's an approximate view from the general area you gave: https://caltopo.com/view#ll=39.2998,-10 ... 1.11,-64.1
