Pawnee Buchanan and most of the high Indian Peaks are blowing up right now. Flowers are super early this year.

Asters. I think they are Western Asters but the differences are subtle.

Another Mayflower Gulch shot. A little water seep or stream or something at this spot, not so many flowers elsewhere.

Whatever these things are, up near Lake Emma. Definitely past prime time for flowers.

seems to me the season peaked very early this year. I went to my favorite flower spot, the valley between Wetterhorn and Coxcomb, and it was way past prime.

Anyone else notice a fast season this year?

I agree. I did see that much on the CDT trail by Berthoud Pass this weekend.

Sometimes there is second wild flower seasons after the monsons begin at lower altitudes.
Lots of wild sunflowers.

Those are Rose (or Queen's) Crown,.....a cousin of the more prominent, King's Crown.

Glad you were still able to find some blooms and post them here.
