Nominate your favorite Colorado Landscape Photographer

Post by mattpayne11 »

It is time to update my "Colorado's 20 Best Landscape Photographers" article. Some of the photographers featured no longer reside in Colorado and so I think it is only fitting that they be replaced.

Please comment with your nominations with links to their work, I really appreciate it! This is a great way to feature your favorite photographers.

Some folks I'm already thinking about adding:

My vote is for Jack Brauer. He is out of Ouray. Fantastic!

Kane Englebert is very good, haven't seen him around on the internet lately though.

Edit - well, you have him at number one, but his website is gone, hopefully he is somewhere.

I just shot with him last month, he's doing great. He just let his website go for a little bit to re-tool it.

I would put John Fielder into the top 20 somewhere. I have been to a handful of his presentations and am always impressed by what I see. Yes he is long winded and full of himself at times but his heart is in the right place as far as open space and wilderness preservation .There are a lot of talented photographers in this state for sure. Thanks for the website links.

I always enjoy Lars Leber out of the Springs area. His eastern plains night pics are great. http://larsleber.net

Of course there is yourself Matt, where do you rank yourself  ? (From someone who proudly has your work hanging above my desk in the office)

Thanks for the compliment - I don't live in Colorado so I can't be included ;) but I would probably not be in the top 20 I think. Lars is very good, His processing is too extreme for me to list him here though, (my own personal opinion).
