Hiked the Abyss trail today - that trail specifically is nearing peak. The aspens over the trail are brilliant, the ones alongside the hills still have a few more days.

Guanella pass needs a few more days, as does the 285 corridor. Some trees around Bailey seemed to be going straight to brown

Either things are changing fast or my eyes were tricking me as I drove from I-70 to Leadville and it seemed nearly all the trees were turned - lots of gold.

I'd say that stretch seems like it's already at peak - didn't see much green left...

Was looking pretty good at the Beaver Creek TH near Fairplay today.

Went over Guanella on the way back to Denver and it wasn't as far along but also looking good in spots (super busy though).

Music Pass and the Rainbow Trail are looking good and probably a week or less from their peak.
