This is an interesting discussion. In September 2014, I drove my modified* Xterra (RIP) up to a parking/camping area at about 37.5624,-105.5492. This is above 10,200', to the right as you're going up the road.
My notes mention that the stretch of road before that was challenging, steep and covered with large loose rocks. This is probably the "hill" mentioned in the OP.
So I'm not sure if this particular large rock at 10.1K is something new (i.e., rolled down from above, or was exposed by erosion or wheel spin).
The picture taken from the parking spot at the switchback. July 19, 2017 and shows the rock/s you’re referring to. Seen in the top / upper shadows.
The rock/s are still there.

If you are having a hard time getting past that rock you might have a hard time climbing LB, that's considered the 2nd hardest climb amongst the CO 14'ers.
So if LB is rated #2, then what is #1? Capital?

Yeah, I mean a few people disagree but the majority agrees that Capitol is the hardest. There was actually a thread on that topic a few months ago iirc and some people were claiming that they felt more unsafe climbing LB than Capitol.

The reason that is relevant is because Capitol's score was greater than 2, 2.17 if I recall correctly, with Little Bear's being 2.53 maybe? That means plenty of people ranked Capitol the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc hardest 14er. Not sure if there was anti trolling check to make sure someone didn't rank Sherman 1st and Capitol 58th. Ratings are definitely subjective.

Another interesting thing is that many of the peaks on the list didn't go by the standard routes, typically if their standard route was conjoined with another peak (cue. Bross at #57 from the East Slopes route which was considered easier than Handies but the Decalibron loop wasn't). Or strangely enough the Decalibron itself was #52 but was designated solely for Mt. Cameron. Now the lists that websites use to rank the 14ers usually just order them by Class then by RT length. Personally, even though the 14ers list wasn't perfectly accurate and each person's climb could be slightly different depending on outside factors, it probably was still the best list for ranking the 14ers.

Agreed, It's not a list of precision but one I used for general consideration as I progressed through the 58. Especially, when progressing up the Classes.

It's on the wayback machine, someone posted it in on here and I think I bookmarked the link. Not sure if Bill archived it but I think he discussed it at some point. He felt potential accuracy issues.
But I kinda doubt it and it would be great if he put it back. Of course if anyone thinks that a certain peak is mis ranked I'd be interested in that info. Of course there are many opinions..... And one person's difficult is another's easy. Good to know about snowmass
