Grays/Torreys 2wd Trailhead - Sleep Overnight?
I haven't seen a posting regarding sleeping in a vehicle overnight at the Grays/Torrey's 2wd/winter trailhead. Is it possible, allowed, done frequently, etc. and if so, is it recommended? I haven't been there, but from what I gather, it is very close to Interstate 70. I have a small sedan and would walk the road up to the main trailhead. Thanks for any info.

I have slept in my vehicle at the upper trailhead, but not the lower. It is right off of the interstate and I personally would not want to sleep there in my vehicle. I've seen too many horror films about hitchhikers. Also local law enforcement might not be happy about it either.

It's a good place to sleep. I've done it several times.

Done it many times, never had a problem, summer fall or winter.
Just crack the window open facing away from the interstate to allow influx of fresh air.

I've slept there once, half the night after getting in on a very delayed flight, figured I'd forsake the hotel and just sleep there.
It was later in the Fall but was fine and pretty quiet actually despite being close to I-70.
I had my axe and bear spray so if anyone wanted to break in...
