SAR for your car
CO 4x4 Rescue and Recovery
720-722-1204
https://www.co4x4rnr.org
They are SAR for your car! Everyone needs to keep this organization's number in their phone. Consider making a small donation when you can as well, you never know when you might need them. I am not affiliated with this group, just sharing a resource that I feel we are fortunate to have in Colorado.

Thanks, Troy! Just added their contact info to my address book. Hope to never need them but if I do…

Re: SAR for your car
I used to live in Arizona high country, and wherever it would snow a friend and I would go out and spend all night pulling cars out of ditches or up the street hills and rescuing the rear wheel drive police cars.
Should have made it a 503c organization and gotten some tax breaks and pro deals. Lol.

They should just close all the roads in Colorado.

But are they reachable via InReach if you're out of cell range?

Re: SAR for your car
Send a message to your emergency contact to have them call. I have left the number with my wife. If I don't have service, I will message her info/location and have her be the go between. That or walk/hitch to cell range.WanderingJim wrote: ↑Fri Jul 16, 2021 5:44 pm But are they reachable via InReach if you're out of cell range?

This is a great idea thanks for posting
Re: SAR for your car
Thanks so much for posting! I’ve always thought about how ridiculous it would be to bother an overtaxed SAR team about a car issue.
