Where to Find Current Dirt and 4WD Road Conditions?

Post by ablocki »

Is there a good source that provides up-to-date info on Colorado's dirt and 4WD road conditions?

I was planning to do some camping and off-roading this weekend in the Telluride/Ouray/Silverton area with Ophir, Imogene, and Cinnamon passes all possibilities. With all of the heavy rains in SW Colorado and recent trailhead conditions reports mentioning mudslides, I was wondering if there was a place to check the current status of these roads other than just if they are open or closed?

Not sure how often reports are posted, but Bushducks seems to be a pretty good resource

And if you use Facebook, you can follow pages for county road agencies like San Miguel County Colorado Road and Bridge. Very helpful for closure information. If you can't find a county road and bridge page, follow the county sheriff or office of emergency management pages.

Thanks for your replies! I've used Trails Offroad and it's great, but the rest of these are super helpful as well
