Wow, that NorCal incident is just so strange.
Makes you wonder if maybe they were using a stove in their tent and got CO2 poisoning?

Yea, I was thinking that though the weird thing is the reports say they just had gone for a day hike. Just strange, I've hiked a lot around that area, was also thinking rattlesnakes but there would be marks and likely not immediate for the adults.
A theory is they possibly could have drank water infected with "toxic algae"...

It doesn't say if they were found inside their tent, but if so, CO is my most likely suspect.Phill the Thrill wrote: ↑Fri Aug 20, 2021 12:31 am Wow, that NorCal incident is just so strange.

Especially since the dog was dead too.
Edit:
Just saw this.

Maybe not CO as they were found on a hiking trail says the article.
I gotta get me an Avatar.

As nyker mentioned above, toxic algae blooms are a possible cause of death.

That's a shame and that the victim's brother also was killed in 2015.
Be careful out there...

As for the moose stomping incident, any dog to a cow moose is a wolf and it will attack. Which is why this woman got killed. Ergo, do not take your dog into moose area and allow it to run off leash. Even a leash, according to this incident is not adequate protetion.
...let me remind you of the pilgrim who asked for an audience with the Dalai Lama.
He was told he must first spend five years in contemplation. After the five years, he was ushered into the Dalai Lama's presence, who said, 'Well, my son, what do you wish to know?' So the pilgrim said, 'I wish to know the meaning of life, father.'
And the Dalai Lama smiled and said, 'Well my son, life is like a beanstalk, isn't it?'

Last theory I heard was it was a lightning strike. This doesn't always leave clear evidence on the bodies, like branching burns on the skin.

Re: Norcal family found dead
such a strange mystery. none of the possible explanations yet offered seem to be able to fully explain it. it's like a modern-day Dyatlov Pass incident.
