Any info on what happened? It looks like it was right below the notch - that could be a difficult fall with the notch exposure.

I don’t have any details other than what CBS4 reported. It does look like he was plucked from the upper gulley, after the saddle (Lavender Col.), but before the notch.

Might have been scaling rocks to get to/from summit and avoided the notch completely. Its near top of col just past notch split.
