I don't understand this comment by salad guy.
I assumed he meant that it was unfortunate that there was an accident and SAR was needed. I know it's easy to misread something and putting foot in mouth, maybe that happened here?
In any case, sounds like a successful rescue, and hopefully will be a speedy recovery for the injured party.

In this case, switching "unfortunate" with "fortunate" would have been its own disaster altogether.
