I have done a fair amount of 14'ers and dont run into conditioning problems, but I wanted to take my mom, a lifelong resident who doesnt do a ton of hiking, up Mt. Big Chief near Colorado Springs, had heard the views were really something, but I dont want to take her up something that is going to be too strenuous for someone not used to the elevation gain and incline.
So...has anyone done this mountain and care to share any thoughts?
