Most loved? Longs. For lots of reasons, one of them being this.
Re: Most Loved 14er
For me, it's Longs peak. I lived in Denver for a long time, so it was close and is absolutely beautiful.
Torreys is 2nd as it was my first.

I've only done a few, but so far my favorite is Holy Cross. Love the spiritual history of the area and the views from Notch in spring/early summer are killer. Also, Halo was pretty fun and I'll prob end up repeating that route sometime since it's so close to home.

Pyramid, it has the best views of any 14er summit in Colorado. Also a super fun climb, looking forward to doing it again.

Pyramid! After years of cutting pictures out of calendars, and magazines, I traveled to Colorado in 2000 to see the Bells. As I hiked up to crater lake, I looked up to the left, and was smitten. I didn't know what it was, but I was going to climb it one day. in 2008 my dream came true.

I really enjoyed that route, too! And traversing to the other Crestone sub-summits, as well as the Needle.

Pyramid was my finisher! I really enjoyed North Maroon via the Bells traverse, too. The changing aspens in the view made it extra special.myfeetrock wrote: ↑Wed Dec 01, 2021 8:35 am Pyramid! The Blanca-Ellingwood traverse was great. Got a ride up to ~10k' on Lake Como Road, so that trip wasn't as bad as it could have been.
Capitol was fun, even the approach.
Kit Carson via the north ridge is now among my favorites.
Uncompahgre and Wetterhorn as well. Hard to choose.

Mt. Lindsey. Because what was once accessible is no longer, making it a rare, highly sought summit. Plus, I love the Sangres.
Bad decisions often make good stories.
