I have no idea how much I have spent.
I do know for certain that I have never regretted a single penny spent pursuing any type of outdoor activity.
I have regretted, a lot, in so many ways having spent much, much more pursuing other highly destructive and boorish activities.
I'll stick with the outside, it is an absolute bargain for many reasons, and when factoring in the fun/ joy I get in return for dollars spent, the outside is the best thing I have ever spent money on.

For someone who travels from the Midwest, my largest expense is always gas. Camping, Air BnB’s, and not eating out much, keeps my overall cost relatively low. Especially when compared with other vacations. As many people have posted, I never regret spending money on traveling to CO

Haha essentially. Although I take the Bustang quite often these days - this year will probably be a record for me!

What app is that? I like the it.bergsteigen wrote: ↑Mon Apr 12, 2021 6:33 pm In 2013 I started using a Subi for ski season, and saved my Taco for summer hiking season. So I did a quick report in my app I use to track expenses. I still have another ~5 years to finish, but here’s a decent idea of costs over 7 years. I typically like multi-day, multi-peak efficiency. So if you don’t do this, it will be much more expensive!
