Do any of the old timers on here (or anyone else) know anything about the history of the "Cables" route on Long's Peak?
Roach's book has a very brief summary of it, but I am curious to know more. I have met several people in their 70's and 80's who climbed the Cables route back in the day.
I am sure I could google it, but it's more interesting to hear about it from real people.
