Bierstadt and dogs

Post by brianb10 »

Is Bierstadt a good 14'er for a dog? I won't be doing the sawtooth, just up and down the highway on Bierstadt. Thanks.

It's great if you're dog loves hiking and doesn't mind people or other dogs. You'll encounter several people with their dogs on that hike during the summer. When I hiked it, I went with some friends and their St.Bernard. She loved it!

I hope to take my Boston Terrier with me up Bierstadt next weekend. He isn't always the best with other dogs and will definately be on a leash.
