The 4th of July in the San Juans

Post by XterraRob »

Anyone around that wants to climb some peaks in the San Juans around 7/4/22?

My schedule is wide open, can drive to the 4wd tailheads.

Planning to watch the fireworks in Lake City (near the park) @ 930pm on 7/3, then going to Ouray on 7/4 to watch the fireworks @ 930pm.

Have a RAM 1500 w/ open room. PM, it'll be a chill weekend (I'm a slow hiker).

What about the following weekend. July 10,11, or 12th. I would be interested in El Diente and/or Mount Wilson.

Enjoy the SJ’s. Wish I could join you. Need to visit some 13ers in the Lake City area.
