Re: Colorado LiDAR Findings
Can't wait to archive my checklist spreadsheet and start completely anew!
Why is Wood Mountain A no longer a bi? Prominence? Did 13,708 get bumped up from soft-ranked? Once this is all over, it'll be interesting to see what peaks changed and for which reasons. With elevations and prominences changing, the lists at the moment are utter chaos.

Re: Colorado LiDAR Findings
Wood Mountain has only 295' of prominence. Point 13,708 has 294' of prominence so it is not ranked either.9patrickmurphy wrote: ↑Thu Dec 02, 2021 11:50 am Can't wait to archive my checklist spreadsheet and start completely anew!

It will be fun to see how this all shakes out!

Re: Colorado LiDAR Findings
That's great news! I have done all the additions but none of the removals
Tornadoman wrote: ↑Thu Dec 02, 2021 9:03 am The BiCentennial picture continues to becoming clearer with the additional peaks with just over 300' being evaluated by LIDAR.
REMOVALS:
"Lightning Pyramid" (Not Ranked)
Wood Mountain (Not Ranked)
Mt. Powell (Elevation Lowered)
13,580- San Juans (Elevation Lowered)
13,580- Sangres (Elevation Lowered)
Additions
Mt. Evans B (Elevation Raised)
Mt. Parnassus (Elevation Raised)
Mt. Rosalie (Elevation Raised)
Currently if my math is correct, Clark and Rosalie are tied at 199 & 200 at 13,579'. Chiefs Head is also at 13,579' so depending on it's new LIDAR elevation it may or may not be a Bi. Obviously the list won't be final until all the peaks are evaluated!

Re: Colorado LiDAR Findings
Aaaaand…. N Maroon is ranked? So if Challenger falls off we still have the 53/58, just a little different. This is crazy. Apparently a contour line (or two) was missing in the Maroon saddle.

A peak worthy of being ranked.bdloftin77 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 02, 2021 5:54 pm Yes, North Maroon is indeed ranked!! I will make a separate thread for greater visibility.
Re: Colorado LiDAR Findings
Any chance Vermejo isn't ranked? I don't really want to pay $500 for that one!

Re: Colorado LiDAR Findings
I am in the same situation, I appear to be making nice headway on the list without leaving my couch! Of course with North Maroon being ranked, everything goes down (Clark & Rosalie tied at 200). So who knows how much more this changes!swadmin wrote: ↑Thu Dec 02, 2021 5:04 pm That's great news! I have done all the additions but none of the removals

Even if Vermejo is found to be unranked (and that won't happen), you’d still get to pay for Alamosito and Purgatoire.

Damn, I forgot about Purgatoire.

Anyone checked Hagar and The Citadel? Both aren't ranked by much and I'm curious which summit of The Citadel is actually higher.

And since Citadel is the parent for Hagar, if it goes down then Hagar probably does also.Jon Frohlich wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 9:39 am Anyone checked Hagar and The Citadel? Both aren't ranked by much and I'm curious which summit of The Citadel is actually higher.
