Rocktober Challenge

Post by bmcqueen »

Something I'm doing at work and thought I would put it out here as well in case anyone in the 14ers community wanted to participate:

Join me in a Rocktober challenge? No, I don't mean 2007 when the Rockies were still in it in baseball and we all got excited....this is something different.

We all need rocks in our lives - steady, consistent, calming influences we can count on, and our rocks have been even more important during 2021. Each week in October, I'm going to send a note of gratitude to one of my rocks - could be a parent, kid, work colleague, life partner, teacher, mentor, friend, etc. There are five Friday's in October this year - join me in recognizing five of your most important 2021 rocks?

Speaking of rocks, the Stones surely would have sent a note of gratification along these lines to the ultimate rock-steady presence: Charlie Watts. I'm actually more serious on this than kidding, but I'll give this some more personal thought and respond again. Great idea this is, Brad.
