Congrats Will! I thought you were getting closed based on the conditions reports I kept seeing all summer!

Thanks all, it was really a great sense of accomplishment finishing on Vestal yesterday. I’m glad I finished on Vestal, because it’s friggin’ amazing, just *seeing* Wham Ridge was enough to make my day, let alone ascending it. What a magnificent rock.

Amy- thanks for posting, and being a resource for dumb questions I don’t want to ask publicly;)

Supra- I’ll never catch your peak count, but winter is coming😍😍😍

Ryan- lots of random peaks on my to do list, Gannett, Grand Teton, Lone Eagle, Cali 14’ers, and at some point I want to get above 14k.

Bombay- before yesterday S Maroon was clearly the best peak in the state. Wham Ridge is not only more fun, but even more beautiful. And longer. And harder. And less crowded. It’s the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. I also really liked Ice Mtn and Pigeon.

Captain Suburbia- still looking forward to trying to get LB west ridge with you, I was pretty narrowly focused on getting these last few centennials before snow hits. And S Maroon may not be as magnificent as Vestal, but it still beats LB.

Cougar- you have no idea how appropriate that meme is, I live at Chipotle.

Skimo- congrats to you too, I figured we’d be wrapping up about the same time.

Congratulations!!! Great summit photo. Arrow in the background  Going deep into the San Juan wilderness and
keeping your celebration cupcake pristine after climbing a tough peak, gets extra credit =D>

I was digging through my rubbermaid collection in the kitchen before I left trying to find a container for it, I’m pretty sure the one I found was designed specifically for a cupcake, it fit so well I had a hard time getting the cupcake out when I reached the summit.
