Mostly LoJ as I track everything we do (and the dogs have their own lists).

I ticked "Mainly Lists of John," because I've used it on occasion for list-keeping, but it's very sporadic. I've only listed a few ascents there because I think a small group might like to see something unusual, e.g. DNM ascents. Other than the occasional LOJ entries (once, twice a year?) and an old paper winter acents list I don't really keep track of summits.

There is/was a feature on LOJ where you could export to an Excel doc your peak list (peak, elevation, quad, county, prominence). I did that years ago and have used that as the foundation of my master Excel list, cross referenced with photos and memory.

I do use the checklist on 14ers.com, but also use my pictures. Every peak has its own photo album. I recently did the above project, picking my favorite picture from the ascent of that peak...so it may or may not even have the mountain in the picture I chose to display. {Only problem now is that I have a couple more peaks to add and need to start on another window frame, but first need to find another window frame that looks relatively similiar}

I just use the Garmin website since I already used that for swimming, cycling, and running. I’d have to scroll through a lot to actually find a specific hike. For all practical purposes, I don’t really ever look at the data. I take a summit picture and if someone were to question it, I could eventually produce the gpx file. Might just take a while to find it. I stopped updating the list here several years ago and have never used LOJ or anything similar.

Spreadsheet. I try and keep it up to date with all the random local peaks as well since it’s neat to see how many times ya summit them over the year. I also use LOJ and this site but tend to forget to update them, especially for repeats, so they aren’t the most accurate. LOJ is nice to keep track of wilderness area summits (and some other lists) and this site is good for seeing the top 100/200/13ers and how many is left to do.

I track it on 14ers.com as well as an excel spreadsheet. With all the hacking that goes on in our current world I would never only have it on one place online.

I only track here on 14ers, but I do download my list once in a while.
I only keep track of 13ers and 14ers, whether they're a new summit for me or repeats.

I have wondered why folks keep up their lists on different sites.

Online, only here, but I have an excel sheet with all the details from any trips, hikes, climbs, turnarounds, etc. I keep a similar sheet for fishing trips...

Here on 14ers and LOJ since I do more than just 14ers and 13ers in Colorado. I also keep my own website, so I can sort lists the way I want to. Plus for keeping up my web skillz.

I’ve tried other sites like Summitpost and peakbagger, but that’s just too much tracking.

I use Peakery which seems to get little love around here. It awards you all sorts of badges and tracks peak bagging challenges for that sweet dopamine hit.

14ers.com to impress the popular kids here, and help my advice seem halfway credible before I trick someone into 18+ mile link-ups.

LoJ to keep track of things like the perilous Huerfano County Highpoint. I do like how through the Stats Summary one can sort summits on LoJ by a date range to measure one's productivity in a given duration.

I also log all my biking, hiking, and running miles on a Google Doc with descriptions.

This site is infinitely better from a information sharing and communication standpoint however. Plus, you know, snowflake icons ❄️
