Elks upcoming weather
I'm getting ready for my annual pilgrimage to Colorado and just took a glance at the weather. Is anyone else planning on climbing anything in the Elks this weekend or early next week? Looks like lots of rain, but I would love for someone to tell me that I should interpret this differently.

Re: Elks upcoming weather
I was planning on doing crestones this weekend but looks like worse weather down that way and better weather toward Aspen so was thinking about re-routing and doing N or S Maroon instead on Sunday. Let me know if you are interested- Keith
Re: Elks upcoming weather
Sunday might be OK, but the weather isn't looking good on Saturday.
The Elks 14ers are probably the ones I'd worry most about during bad weather since they can be hard to get off when the weather moves in.
I'm working in Fairplay and might do something around there on Sunday, but I don't know what.

I'm old, slow and fat. Unfortunately, those are my good qualities.
