20 to 25 more Bicentennials plus another 30 ranked 13ers.
I had some vacation leave to use or lose by the end of June, strong start to the summer season.

5 - Bicentennials
4 - Tricentennials
27 - Ranked 13ers
6 - Unranked 13ers
33 - Total 13ers

Warning, pity party ahead...

2021 has turned out to be a shitty year. My peak count is not bad, but my mileage/elevation is at about half of 2020's total. The persistent smoke put a hurt on me. It has not bothered me in the past, but this year it got to me. I was doing well in June and July, then in early August one of our dogs died suddenly and I've only been out two times since. Both times sucked, I had no giddy up in my go, almost like I was suffering from altitude sickness. I thought September would be my comeback month, but dammit if I did not come down with bronchitis, at least I did not get COVID again.

That said, I know some here are dealing with much bigger issues like cancer battles and such. I hope you all are winning them!

Current 2021 Stats:

10 - Bicentennials
8 - Tricentennials
41 - Ranked 13ers
8 - Unranked 13ers
49 - Total 13ers

I'm happy with how I'm doing this year so far:

Mount Rainier (June)
Sharkstooth RMNP (August) to finish the Top 100 peaks in RMNP
5 centennials
19 bicentennials
13 tricentennials
63 ranked 13ers + 22 unranked 13ers = 85

Didn't get: Gannett Peak, Kilimanjaro, or any of the 3 technical cents....these will all be big priorities for next year

Dang, how many days a week do you do peaks? I thought I climbed a lot, currently 44 on the year, but to accomplish this number, are you doing a lot of link ups, single mountain outings and high volume, both?

It's a bit of both, especially in summer when I'm not working. Rest of the year I only work about half the week. That helps, along with doing link-ups and getting out often. Having said that, I've seen a number of others on here that I'm sure can put my peak count to shame. I also expect my count to dwindle in years ahead as I leave more peaks to be done that are in the San Juans, far from where I live in northern Colorado.

1. formal commitment to the CT. headed out June 29 for 5-1/2 weeks in the woods with Archer. possible inclusion of Mt. Hope A, TBD.

when i return, a few meager offerings:
2. Longs - with my dog headed into retirement soon, it's time to start working on my C3 peaks- starting with the Loft on Longs.
3. Tour De Massive (roll-over from 2020 goals)
Bonus: Antero, East La Plata-- if i have the time.
1. bailed. as it turns out, thru-hiking is not my favorite way to explore.
2. failed. lost my trail legs while re-evaluating my life, learning to fly fish, traveling for work, and dealing with an unusual stomach bug/prolonged digestive issue after stopping at a KFC in pueblo. as if anyone needed more reasons to dislike pueblo...
3. logistical barriers. hopefully halfmoon TH opens up for next year.
Bonus: N/A

with that said, i'll throw in a new Q4 goal to maintain my trail fitness through EOY.

I did manage a few RMNP peaks and will have time for a few more. Highlights were Arrowhead, Isolation, and Eagles Beak.

Some Flatirons as I still haven't been up the Third.

So far no progress and actually I've only be able to climb once this year at the Performance Park.
I do have a Friday off at the end of the month if anyone wants to maybe climb something in the Flatirons otherwise it'll be another Rocky day

Climbing the Grand with Dave and Scott?

Maybe next year? I got stuck in Fairplay all summer and since I was on call had to stick around there (not that that was a bad thing, but I missed heading out farther).
I'm old, slow and fat. Unfortunately, those are my good qualities.

2) Maybe hit 200 ranked peaks over 13k but that requires doing 20 and it's been a while since I've done that many in a year.
3) Hike as many peaks with the dogs as possible
1) No, I only did Pigeon but at least one step closer.
2) No, 188 currently, might still do a couple more though.
3) Yes, almost got all the dogs to 75 peaks over 13k too but not quite
