acidchyide: I also grew up in central Indiana and lived there 31+ years before moving to Colorado in spring, 1981. I know parts of the state are into fundamentalist religion. But, like you, I don't recall learning of a specific "Indiana bible belt" while living there.

I suspect he's not talking about *central* Indiana. The Bible Belt only grazes the very southern tip of IN.
