What a beast. I would've stopped in Leadville for the night and got a comfy hotel room. Joe is riding on to the Tiguwon Road, in the dark...

Personally, I would've rode down to Edwards (a little out of the way, but not much) and spent the night at the Crazy Mountain Brewery. Minturn is a fine town as well. Go Joe!

Re: Joe Grant's Tour de 14er
Weird. Joe just posted on Instagram from Alma regarding snow on Demo, Cam & Lin, but no mention of Bross. Says he's heading to Quandary. Skipping Bross is shocking. I know it's technically on private property, but everyone does it, including all FKT aspirants. I'm baffled. I mean, he rode his bike on the Durango-Silverton train track, for goodness sake! What the...?!

He just responded to my Instagram comment stating 'closed to public'

With Quandary today (right now?!), do you think he is on track to finish Friday or Saturday?
