Yaktoleft13 Centennial Finisher!

Post by angry »

Big ups to yaktoleft13 for finishing the centennials today on Phoenix.

Eric is a wonderful hiking partner and friend. He’s also a great story teller whose trip reports are not only meant for his wife to enjoy and share in the adventure but to provide solid route information rather than stroke his ego.

I could go on and on singing his praises. Eric, I’m thankful to know you and to have shared so many summits together. Congrats!

Good job Eric! Congratulations!
The summit is a source of power. The long view gives one knowledge and time to prepare. The summit, by virtue of the dizzying exposure, leaves one vulnerable. A bit of confidence and a dash of humility is all we get for our work. Yet to share these moments with friends is to be human. C. Anker

Eric is a strong leader on fearsome alpine rock and also a generous person who shares his skills with the less talented in their summit quests.
"Rocks, mountains, snow and ice: what more do we desire?" - Reinhard Karl

“I breathed in the air on the summit and liked it better than the air below.”
