Little Bear - now 4/13/14

Climbing partner and I are going up Saturday to give Little Bear a shot on Sunday. Wanted to see if anyone wanted to join us, we were looking to stay in the cabin up there. PM me or whatever if you're interested.

So, the weather is a bit questionable, as of right now, if these snow totals don't pane out I think we will give it ago. However, if the Sangre get a big dump I think we will attempt it on 4/13/2014.

Keep your eye on the weather. I live in Southern Colorado, and it's snowing now. Little Bear forecast (noaa.gov) is showing heavy snow today with 6-10 inches possible, mountain forecast is showing a little less accumulation. Another storm predicted for Saturday night.

Yea, I have been obsessing over it... I was just looking at the SNOTEL sites and it doesn't seem like they are getting anything out of this storm. Who knows with this stuff.

Btw, I am in if you guys go the weekend of 4/13, assuming a decent forecast. I also have a lifted Jeep that could take a max of 3 people with gear up to at least 9800 ft on Lake Como Rd.

We were up last weekend and the route is in great shape. Had the basin all to ourselves. Route was well consolidated. Snow from about 9,800' up the road with a few bare spots here and there.
