A buddy of mine and I are planning on making the November 2nd trip up. :-D
I would rather sit on a mountain and think about God than sit in church and think about the mountains.

Why is everyone going for Saturdays? College football is on Saturdays... :(

Either way, all of those days work for me, so I'll be there.

Awesome!

Looks like Nov 2 staying in the lead with 60% of the votes; poll stays open for three weeks.

For those that can't make it, maybe we can do something later in November. If so, I'm thinking we step it up a couple notches with a smaller, more experienced group?

Love that pic of you and Brandon. That WAS a fun day, wasn't it! Sadly I won't be able to make this year's - Air Force plays Army on 02Nov and I have tix... But I might join you for the later one if it is within my abilities..
I take the mountain climber's approach to housekeeping - don't look down

Hi all,

so I like reading this page but i hardly ever post anything. I'll try for this winter warmer event in Nov. I prefer Sundays, but could aim for Saturday. I noted a post from Dancesatmoonrise to find a smaller more experienced group - which sounds right on - let me know when you figure out how to select such a group from the 30k-and-counting members of this website, all unkown to me.
any thoughts where the winterwarmer will be held? usually its nice and dry here well into january.

cheers, mntnute

ok, so i found out its going to be on quandary. my bad, i didnt see that at first. before i catch another guy trying to give me helpful hints on winter mountaineering - there used to be a time when i'd only go up co 14ers in winter, since i wouldnt want to use a summer /climbing day on something that would go in winter. but since i'm new to the 14er gang, i'll give this event a go to meet some new folks. cheers, u

There's a good chance I'll be out of town during all of these dates but if not I'm definitely interested.

I like the way you think Lemmiwinks. Love me some College Football. That being, said I'm gonna try to make this, because I want to learn winter climbing!

Count me in! I had an absolute blast last year in the nasty wind and blowing snow! I will adjust my schedule to make it on either of the days so I will see you there!
