Rainier!!!!

Postby MIT » Tue Jul 21, 2009 5:39 pm

Well, two friends and I booked travel to give Rainier a go with RMI on September 6-9. I am planning on attempting to haul the full spherical gigapixel panorama gear with me. If all goes well, I'll take multigigapixel shots from the base, Muir camp, and the summit. If things don't go well, I'll chuck all the gear in a crevasse

If anyone from Northern Colorado has climbed Rainier in the recent past, I would glad to meet up and trade beer for stories and tips.

I climbed it Labor Day of 2007 with IMG. Great fun. Don't plan on sleeping much at Camp Muir.

MIT,

My wife and I climbed Rainier in June. If you're free this Sunday, we have a northside meet-up planned in Loveland.

Climbed it in 1985. I suspect it's still tough.
