Helpful Links for New 14ers Adventurers

Postby Cruiser » Wed Apr 04, 2007 9:34 am

So the ski resorts, with the notable exceptions of Loveland and A-Basin, will all be closing soon. That signals the beginning of the Spring climbing season. That said I thought I’d try to put together a list of some of the threads that would be most helpful for a beginning 14er adventurer. This forum is frequented by some of the most knowledgeable and experienced climbers in Colorado, and as such I think there is a tremendous wealth of information available here. I have tried to include a thread or two from the archives about some of the most important and frequently asked topics. By no means is this an exhaustive list so please feel free to add more links if you find a really relevant thread that I left out.

Nice job Cruiser! Lot's of Folks should be very appreciative of the effort you spent to provide some valuable short cuts.
Some mistakes are too much fun to make only once.

Very nice, this should be a permanent reference on the site somewhere.
Yep, it's the brown season.

Nice job Cruiser! This site rocks! :YY
