By some cruel irony, my occupation prohibits me from having a beard all winter. Instead I have one all summer, and during the winter I grow a ridiculous mustache in protest. This year, I spent May through August in the Southern Hemisphere and I got to have a wintertime beard for the first time since college. I grew it extra bushy. Possibly the bushiest I've ever grown. Probably on a terrorist watch list now from the flight home. Totally worth it.
