Tabeguache- Make an easy $30 -Drive us 3.8 miles in your 4WD

We don't have a 4WD, and will park at the lower Angel of Shavanno trailhead.

From there we would like to meet you, and have you drive us (a couple and their mixed breed, well behaved dog) to the Jennings Creek trailhead.

We're hoping to hike next Saturday, Sept 28, weather permitting. Obviously we would be open and flexible regarding date.

We DON'T need a ride back to the lower trailhead(Angel of Shavanno) because we don't mind hiking back down the 4WD trail, so hike at your own pace, or, if you live nearby and don't want to do the hike, just drop us off.

We don't mind riding in the back of your pickup.

Thanks :-}

I did it via Roach's Blank Gulch approach. Longish drive, but OK for a sedan. There were hunting parties in September.

Isn't the road passable to most cars, or has the road deteriorated because of the recent weather?
I'm slow and fat. Unfortunately, those are my good qualities.

The OP was looking to get a ride to the Jennings Creek TH (which Bill has rated as a 4 out 6 for road difficulties).

^^^ The road up to the Jennings Creek TH is cake. Pretty much anyone with a 4wd (or even a 2wd pickup with good clearance) could easily help the OP out. It's narrow in spots and fairly rocky but it is certainly not a difficult stretch of road.
