I'm not sure why but today when I saw this heading I read it as "14ers.corn dogs and thought Bill was expanding the store.

This is Oliver, my 3 year old Aussie. Today was his first 14er! Based on his level of energy afterwards, I'd say there are many more to come!

What a lovely thread! My hiking companion is Lacy, a five year-old sheltie (she's a bit big for her breed) that we rescued. She's got 38 13ers and 14ers under her belt, including a couple hard Class 2+ hikes. Her only limitation is her size!

In light of the rescue of "Missy" the German Shepard from the Sawtooth, please post pictures of your 14er dogs/or other animals enjoying the mountains.

This is Ranger. He is a 3 year old Red Heeler, adopted from the New Hope Cattle Dog Rescue. He has accompanied me on 16 of the fourteeners, with the most recent being Mount Massive and South Massive.

This is Jill (I did not name her, but she has a brother named Jack). 5 year old Dalmatian. She has 8 14ers under her collar and is a speed demon.

Cody is my 6 year old Aussie (female). We moved to Colorado this May, and she's climbed twelve 14ers this summer! Here she is scrambling up rocks on Mt. Evans and on the summit of Mt. Belford. She absolutely loves climbing 14ers and is an amazing hiking/running partner!

I swear my Aussie gets a 'runners high' after summiting a 14er and has more energy after we're done! It takes her almost an hour to finally realize how tired she is :)
