Willow lakes to Red peak (gore)?

Willow lakes to Red peak (gore)?
Heading into the gore this weekend and looking at the possibility of adding in Red mtn. Does anyone know if you can climb Red from willow lakes? On the topo it looks like the west and north ridges could be climbed. Anyone have any experience or info on these routes?

A green light for that route.Just head south from the highest lake for about a half mile and it will be obvious that you will need to turn west and gain the ridge on some messy talus. The going gets easier from there. Probably C2 but loose in places. You can also go north up a couloir to the East Thorne/Silverthorne saddle which is C3.
