You could try James Peak, 13,300' and camp at the lake at St Marys Glacier area. Or car camp at the parking lot for Bierstadt and climb it the next day, 14,1??'. Easy intro climbs.
I love to be in the mountain air, simply because I am happiest there!!,,,,www.ricksportraits.net

I took my wife and dogs up Handies from American basin for their first 14er.
