Seeing Rob's dad cross the finish line and everyone hugging was more than I could handle. Definitely a very emotional finish line but was happy to be there for sure.
Awesome to see so many supporters for Rob out there today, great job to everyone! You know Rob would of loved to see us all out there...

I cannot wait for next year! We might as well just run the marathon, right?

Sarah Dalia (welcome to 12,500' Sarah, way to go!)
For helping in making this relay run an amazing success! Yes, we shouldn't have put the fastest runners at the start and second leg of the run; those of us at Stage C, where the beer and Doritos was were not at all ready to start running that soon... Furthermore, thanks for everyone who were "responsible" for both the C and D stages just leaving at once from C in such a haphazard style, there really was no formal handoff at D, but it ended up working perfectly. Most all of the relay team ran the rest of the route from their stage, congrats team!
Extra Credit to Fletch and TheVagabond for summiting "Repeater" Peak atop Aid Station C.
I will ask the Leadville folks why our time isn't listed on their results page - But know we finished directly with Bill and Peggy Jansen, so we finished the 15.4 mile route in 4:50:30 ish.
I think next year I am foregoing planning a relay and just running the whole Heavy Half.
Congrats to all of you we saw and met and talked to on the way, to name a few others who ran either the Heavy Half or Full Trail Marathon:
Mike (Zdero1); Matt (Speth); (John) JohnP_FTC; Abe (FireontheMountain); Mike (Bean); Ben (benfromtheeast - should be truncated to BEAST); Karthik (theotherindian). Mike (Mikemalick) - I don't recall meeting you, but glad you posted the pic.
If I missed you in this roll call, please chime in! Congrats again on 2013 Leadville!
