Borrow/rent igloo maker?

Postby B-Dog » Sun Dec 16, 2012 2:03 pm

Aloha!

Anyone have a grandshelters igloo maker that I could borrow or rent for next weekend? I'd be happy to leave a deposit.

I think I want one but would like to try it out before I spend the money to buy one.

Thanks,

Brandon

I'm in Denver. PM'd

If I can't arrange to drive to Loveland this week, if anyone has one in Denver, let me know.

Cheers

I'm considering buying one of these, but want to try it out first. Would anyone be willing to let me borrow/rent their igloo maker this weekend? I'm in Denver.

Thanks!

Adam

We have one and would love to build an Igloo this weekend. It is such an awesome invention and Igloo Ed is a fantastic person to meet if you are ever in Longmont. I bought mine direct from the factory. Let me know when and where you would like to build an igloo, and I will bring my maker.

Sorry ... I have to be in Indiana ... :-D

I'm excited about 'camp' tonight because we have heavy snow with strong NE winds. Decided to add a light (its in the backyard) so I can stay up with a book or something.

We have been making block igloos for many years (though the igloo maker looks fun). With our widely varying winter conditions I've somewhat perfected the process of making blocks.

This one was done just in time as the 2-4" forecast morphed to a 3-7" forecast and a 12+" reality.

Unfortunately - when I took this picture I was leaving the igloo to begin to clear the driveway. That was like ](*,)
