Sounds good, hopefully warm weather forecast holds. I've been planning to go with a buddy (griff410 here, I think), driving from Denver. Also I keep a fairly slow pace, but at very least, would be nice to have someone out in front trenching... :-D

I would be up for Grays and Torreys, as well.

Might be in as well if CAIC clears up a bit. Chris let me know if you are all in on this.

Wait.
What happened to Capitol? :(
Gunni and Aspen zones have the lowest CAIC ratings right now.

Right? 8-[

Don't count on that. Our snowpack problems will persist well past this weekend.

I'm down for Grays/Torreys standard route if avy conditions are safe enough. I already promised myself I'd stay off Kelso Ridge again till it was snow free!

I'd have to agree, seems to be trending in the wrong direction to be better by Saturday. That being said, looks like there are a fair number of us who want to get out Saturday. I'm open to suggestions if someone has any ideas on a more avy friendly route/mountain.

That's why I am saying DeCaLiBron. Minimal avy danger, 4 peaks (theoretically  ). Not very windy for Tenmile range on Saturday. I will be up for G/T next week once snowpack settles down a bit more.

I'm in for something as well this Saturday, and will be coming from Denver if anyone is interested in me contributing some gas money.

How do folks feel about Chihuahua Gulch for G/T? I've heard it's a safer winter route, though I don't know if it'll be "safe enough" for people this weekend. The slope aspects are more favorable (mainly S and W) at any rate...

Yeah been looking at Torrey's via Kelso with glacierfox, but that knife edge w/ ice and blustery conditions gives me some definite pause... I haven't been up there but it looks pretty gnarly as is, so any first hand info is appreciated. I'd be up for DeCaLiBron too if that's accessible.
