Some reflections on the 3rd anniversary of moving to Colorado, as narrated by Jerry Garcia:

"I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear."
~Nelson Mandela

"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition."

LOVE this song!

And for the record, the only jacket I brought with me on my first 14er was cotton and was purchased at Goodwill. 8)

Here's something new from the electronic genre: Ultraista - Smalltalk
Amazing first album (dropped late 2012) from a trio that includes Radiohead's producer. Yes, you can obviously hear the Radiohead influence but it's Laura's vocals that steal the show.

“It only ends once. Anything that happens before that is just progress.”

Ha! I remember buying that No Alternative album back in the day for that Pumpkins song, and for the hidden Nirvana track. There's a few other good ones on that compilation as well.
